Sometimes you just have to let the subject dictate the photoshoot (within a very basic outline), and see where they take you. So much personality with these twins, so much fun- and lots of greatness that unfolded. Enjoy the last shoot from Connecticut's fall portrait day!
New Jersey Family Photographer | fall fun
The third shoot from Saturday was with long time friends. I always have a blast taking their pictures (I swear the kids are pro's at having their pictures taken...I don't think they even need me directing them anymore). Half these poses they did themselves, no joke!
New Jersey Family Photographer | Reese and Maggie
Crazy to think I photographed these two little munchkin's PARENTS wedding- way back when. To watch their life unfold, and their family grow has been such a special gift and honor.
New Jersey Family Photographer | Brielle & Betsy
This past weekend was my Connecticut portrait date. Its always a great time seeing how much the kids have grown - and getting caught up on life. Here's my first shoot....
New Jersey Family Photographer | sister shoot
manhattan family photographer | brooklyn part 2
A little Brooklyn adventuring for the second shoot of the day....love these!
Manhattan Family Photographer | Brooklyn
Kicking off the weekend in Brooklyn. It never disappoints. So many great images to choose from...sometimes my job is so hard. But its SO FUN!
New Jersey Family Photography | Farm shoot
Todays shoot was at the family farm. I'll never get sick of taking pictures with horses, barns and a beautiful countryside. Enjoy!
New Jersey Family Photographer | americana shoot
The second shoot from Sunday was with my fellow creative friends. They always bring a little something extra to their shoots. This year, the concept was "Americana" -which was super fun, and very different for me. Not only did I have a great time reconnecting and capturing updated photos of their beautiful boys, but I also had a blast simply collaborating with them.
New Jersey Family Photographer | train station
Another wet, misty beginning to the photoshoots today, but somehow, some magical force let it all work out. And these cuties sure did steal the show!
Morristown Family Photographer | Jockey Hollow
Today was a rainy, foggy NON-PHOTOSHOOTING type of day. I cancelled all of my shoots because of this. However, one of my best friends was scheduled for today- and he would not take "no" for an answer. So here we are...and aren't we lucky?! Even though it was pretty chilly and wet, it actually stopped raining during this hour and we got some fabulous shots.
New Jersey Family Photographer | at the farm
Spent a little time snapping these cuties on Sunday, at the farm. Enjoy!
Manhattan Family Photographer | Central Park in the fall
Sunday started off picture perfect in Central Park. We couldn't have asked for a better day!
new jersey family photographer | spring lake shoot
Tonight's photoshoot took place in Spring Lake. A place where summer memories are made each year. Today we captured some new memories...
Morristown Family Photographer | Train Station Shoot
I've been shooting these 2 beauties since they were babies. They always make magic for me. Today was no exception.
Sparta Family Photographer | summer lovin'
My Saturday sunset shoot was scheduled to take place in a field of sunflowers. We show up at the field, and much to our dismay and shock- the flowers were done blooming. This was a first for me. Fortunately, one of my favorite shooting locations here in Sussex County was just a short distance away. We quickly sped over to Kitattinny State Park to capture a golden sunset and make some magic happen. Phew!
Morristown Family Photographer | end of summer shoot
My first shoot of the weekend was pure beauty. What a way to kick off a Saturday!
Sparta Family Photographer | Waterloo shoot
Its that time of year again. The time when I get to photograph my fellow artist and designer friend, Catherine and her gorgeous family. Every year they bring their A game, and as always I love every shot. (I swear her kids DO smile for the camera, but I just love their model faces so much!). Enjoy the eye candy....
New Jersey Family Photographer | Oliver
I was so excited to meet Oliver this week and to catch up with his family. This little baby was such a sweet, mellow, alert subject to work with. I think his personality is jumping out at me as I look at him in these pictures!
New Jersey Family Photographer | summery evening shoot
Last weekend I met with a favorite family of mine for their annual portraits. Since we've done beach portraits, city portraits and at-home portraits- we decided something rustic would be a great change of pace. I'm so happy we went with this location - the summer casual vibe mixed with the black and white imagery has made me fall in love over and over again!
