Yesterday I headed down to Locust, NJ for a pregnancy photo shoot. The idea behind the session was to celebrate the coming of a winter baby-so we chose to shoot primarily outdoors. It was so much fun-we lucked out with a relatively warm afternoon. The lighting was beautiful and I’m so excited with the results. I was able to work with my favorite makeup artist on this shoot as well, Kerry Crawford.

Today I headed into Manhattan to photograph this happy little guy. I don’t even think he had time to realize what was going on since we woke him up from a nap and I instantly began snapping away. As you can see from the pictures, he really knew how to work it in front of the camera. I had so much fun shooting him and his parents-what a great day!

Today I headed to Chester to shoot these cuties. We did an array of things, finishing the shoot off with a small petting zoo in the yard! It was way too much fun to handle-enjoy looking at some shots:

Today I visited Ethan and Benjamin at their home in Hamilton, NJ. Its already their sixth month shoot-I can’t get over how big these guys are getting!! We started out in their nursery for some bedroom shots, then headed to the park for some outdoor portraits. As usual, these guys gave good face!

Is the picture of Ethan (above) not the face of ecstasy!?! Hilarious…

Yesterday I headed down the hill to Hoboken and took some shots of Jack, my cousin’s little boy. As usual-he worked it for the camera. Can you stand his eyes and his red hair?! I can’t.

Beach Portrait Day

Beach Portrait Day just passed (it was on Sunday). We had a beautiful day- a bit crisp-but sunny and spring like. The kids all were great, everyone had adorable clothes on and I really think most of my small subjects enjoyed the fact that they got to play around at the beach.

The first family arrived at 9 AM-and got the bulk of the chilliness and wind. Still they pulled through and gave great face. Here are some favorites:

My next model was Sydney-age 2. Her mom is a great friend of mine-that I actually lived with in college. Oh, how the time passes soooo fast.

My next shoot included some new friends-we hit it off pretty well, I must say. The kids were a blast to work with and I love the clothing color combos against the sand and water. Very spring-like, I’m in love!

As the afternoon continued, so did the portraits. Here are some images of my next family, can you believe that since I saw them last – another baby arrived, and a fourth is on the way!

And here is my last family of the day-we had a blast and the lighting was beautiful….
