After much anticipation, I’m happy to let you all know that we gave birth to our daughter, Scarlett last friday. We are so in love  and are enjoying ever minute spent with her. I just wanted to post a picture of her from today (obviously I am photographing her daily, she’ll be so sick of me by the time she’s 2). Once I’m a little more settled I’ll be sure to post her official newborn portraits on my blog!

Although I am technically on maternity leave, its kind of hard to stay away from taking pictures….so today I did a spontaneous shoot with my friends and their sixth month old, Emma. To say she’s a cutie pie is an understatement, so I mean- I really just couldn’t resist photographing her. Hope you enjoy the sneak peak!

I call this next series “baby boudoir”…..and I die….

This afternoon I met up with a friend to photograph the pregnancy of her second baby, a little girl due next month. It was great to catch up and to talk all about what’s been going on in our lives. We had a great shoot, despite the chilly, slightly raw feel to the air. I’m loving the results, hope you do too!

This morning I met up with Reese and her parents for her sixth month shoot. OMG is all I can say about her adorable doll face and chubby body. To say I was in heaven while photographing her is an understatement. I can’t even deal with the cuteness–prepare yourself….

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to meet beautiful baby girl Zain for her very first photoshoot. She’s such an easy going, sweet little thing- and was a joy to photograph. We managed to get some shots of just her, and also with her family- including her grandparents who live overseas. Such a special day, and I’m so happy we were able to capture the love. Enjoy!

This morning I met up with an adorable little guy named Hudson. His parents opted to meet me in DUMBO since its such an awesome backdrop for a shoot (although a bit chilly today!) and we got to work. Hudson’s 1 year birthday is coming up next month, and what better way to document his milestone with portraits plus a balloon or two! I’m loving our results, hope you do too…

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Cole and his parents. What an angel he is!! We had such a lovely time, and he was a breeze to work with. I don’t think he has any idea he had his picture taken today, because he basically slept peacefully through the entire affair. Love it…

Well, I guess its official…we’re having a baby girl soon! I wanted to let you all know that I will be on maternity leave starting March 1st and will be back to work in September. I plan on accepting appointments for the fall season starting August 1st. If you’d like to book a session for fall 2012, let me know! I think the fall will book up quickly since my spring and summer clients will be pushed to the fall for their shoots as well.

If you’ve had a shoot recently, I recommend placing your print order by the end of March. Just let me know if you need your photo gallery reloaded. If you had your shoot a while ago, and decide you want to place a print order (during my maternity leave), just email me and I will reload your gallery for you. I expect there will be a lag time right when the baby arrives, but after a month or so, I should be back on track.

This weekend I met up with Jeremy for his one year shoot. The last time I saw him was when he was only days old, so I was quite awe struck when I saw how big and handsome he’s gotten. We did a few looks and finished off with a fun, yummy cake smash. I think he enjoyed the cake….
