I met up with this fun family yesterday at the Waveny (New Canaan, CT) for a fall photo shoot and some holiday portraits. Loved the color combos and adored the holiday dresses (last few pictures in this post)-who looks like living “American Dolls”…They do!

Summer Fun Engagement Shoot

This morning I met up with Meaghan and Tom for their engagement shoot at the beach. We had so much fun together, I really am excited to shoot their New Year’s Eve wedding later this year! Talk about a difference in seasons–summer engagement shots, winter wedding shots. Oh the fun!

New Jersey Pregnancy photographer | Martha’s Vineyard water shoot

While I was on vacation a few week ago, I had the opportunity to photograph a good friend of mine (who was on vacation with me in the Vineyard!). She is due in September and we wanted to something unique for her pregnancy pictures. The water just seemed like the perfect inspiration – natural and beautiful. We headed out very early in the morning before the beaches got packed with tourists and took full advantage of what the island had to offer. Fun, right?

NYC Roof Top & Times Square Engagement Shoot

Last night (yes, on one of the hottest nights of the summer!) I headed in to NYC with Jamie and George, a newly engaged couple. Since George is a city guy at heart, we thought it would be fun to take their engagement pictures there…whats better than being in the place you love with the person you love most?? Anyway, even though it was very warm and sticky, these guys made the entire experience look cool and comfortable. Here are some special shots from the affair;

Today I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful bride-to-be. As a surprise gift for her fiance, she chose to do a boudoir shoot. Of course it was a blast, we had Kerry (kerrydering.com) do the makeup-which was fantastic as always. There are so many fun shots I’d love to post but the only one who’s allowed to see all of them is her lucky man!

Yesterday I did a shoot in Summit, NJ for this beauty. I worked with my favorite makeup artist, kerry (kerrydering.com)-she 3 distinct looks; fresh face and natural, vibrant lip and smokey eye. Last Saturday I met an old friend at my mother-in-law’s home in Connecticut for a photo shoot. They were coming all the way from New Hampshire-so it was a good middle point for us (plus I love the house and yard for shooting). Body Scapes

A few days ago I had the opportunity to try out some dramatically lit body scapes. Its kind of like a celebration of what makes woman beautiful, their curves. I think this is a great gift idea for yourself or for the one you love. I am doing a Valentines Day Girlie shoot later this month (its sold out already), and this is one aspect of what I plan on photographing. Any body type, any age can be captured in this way.
