New York City Wedding Photographer | Mamaroneck Beach and Yatch Club Wedding

This past Saturday the rain came to an end (finally-after what seems like an entire month!) and we were able to shoot a beautiful, sunny wedding. The ceremony took place at St. John The Evangelist Parish, Stamford, CT- the reception was held at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. Boudoir Shoot

Today I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful bride-to-be. As a surprise gift for her fiance, she chose to do a boudoir shoot. Of course it was a blast, we had Kerry (kerrydering.com) do the makeup-which was fantastic as always. There are so many fun shots I'd love to post but the only one who's allowed to see all of them is her lucky man!

Girly Good Times

Yesterday I did a shoot in Summit, NJ for this beauty. I worked with my favorite makeup artist, kerry (kerrydering.com)-she 3 distinct looks; fresh face and natural, vibrant lip and smokey eye. Needless to say, I loved it all (and the house was an amazing backdrop to work in)! Here are a few favorites from each look:

Family Fun

Last Saturday I met an old friend at my mother-in-law's home in Connecticut for a photo shoot. They were coming all the way from New Hampshire-so it was a good middle point for us (plus I love the house and yard for shooting). Anyway, we had a ton of fun catching up and snapping great shots of the kids and family. Here are some faves:

Play-date with Jack

Yesterday I headed down the hill to Hoboken and took some shots of Jack, my cousin's little boy. As usual-he worked it for the camera. Can you stand his eyes and his red hair?! I can't.

Yesterday I headed down the Jersey shore to photograph Lucy and John David- both 1.5 years old. They have grown so much since the last time I saw them-I can't even handle how cute they are. New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Florham Park Wedding

On Saturday we shot a beautiful spring-time wedding at The Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ. The ceremony and reception both took place at the venue-and we did some really fun portraits at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The weather held out just long enough for us to get some killer bridal party pictures on the grounds-yay! The decor was beautiful and we had a blast documenting the day for these two special poeple. Connecticut Family Photographer | Garden Portrait Day

Kerry and Justin Elope!

This passed Saturday we had the opportunity to shoot an elopement ceremony (I think I made that word up) for my cousin and her boyfriend/now husband! It took place at a cool hotel in the Village called The Bowery. The decor was amazing, the attire was amazing...basically there was eye-candy everywhere we turned. Ned and Melissa

This weekend I got to shoot 2 of my favorite people...my brother-in-law and his fiance! The weather held out and we were able to get amazing shots at the Van Vleck house in Montclair, NJ. All the flowers were blooming, including the gigantic 100 year old wisteria tree. It was such a great shoot, and these guys purchased their own wisteria to grow in their own yard...to always remind them of the special day!

Tonight I headed to Taylor Park in Millburn, NJ to meet up with this wonderful family who traveled all the way from Russia! These guys were jet lagged, but you'd never know it from their pictures.....

Tonight Jason and I headed into NYC to meet these guys in Central Park for their engagement photoshoot. Their wedding is in June, so check back soon to see how the day unfolds.  The shoot went spectacularly and the evening was gorgeous...

Kate and Brian

Tonight I headed to the upper east side to meet with Kate and Brian for their engagement session. These guys are getting married in July and I LOVED the park they chose-which is in their 'hood and has a bit of history for the 2 of them. I hadn't realized just how many flowers have begun to bloom this month until I got to the park. Seeing all the greenery and flowers got me inspired and these 2 were a blast to photograph. Today I met up with these love birds, who are getting married in 1 month (OMG!). We headed down to my favorite spot in Hoboken--luckily, the rain held up allowing us to have a fantastic shoot . Stay tuned for their wedding pix soon to appear on the blog and my website!

I was in Westport today-shooting this six month old cutie pie. Since it's such a beautiful day, we did a mix of indoor and outdoor portraits. I think it was a complete success!

Carmen's Newborn Shoot

I headed up to Old Saybrook, CT today to shoot this adorable newborn. I poached the above basket from my mother-in-laws house on Easter...its a perfect baby nest that I wouldn't mind taking a nap in!
