The other day I headed to Hoboken for a maternity shoot. The shoot was scheduled at 8AM, just as the sun was beginning to peak through the Manhattan skyline-it really was beautiful. I was so excited when I saw Jill and Rob walk over to me, they looked like they had just stepped out of a j crew catalog and their colors worked perfectly with our autumn surroundings. Here are some of the shots we took that morning, enjoy!
Here is the last of my Connecticut fall portrait day shoots....with Vinci and Gia. We did the shoot at the Stamford Nature Center- and the animals were out if full effect. I think our girlie girl Vinci was a little on edge when the hens started chasing her! However, you'd never know it from the photos, here's a sneak peak.
My second shoot of the Connecticut fall portrait day was with Liv and Lila. I've been working with these beauties since Lila was only a few months old-its been so fun to watch them grow up. Every year they come dressed in the cutest outfits, and this year is no different. I'm loving everything about these photos!
Yesterday I headed up to Connecticut for my 2010 Fall Portrait Day. We lucked out with perfect weather, it was a little chilly-but that just added cute rosey cheeks to everyone's face. My first shoot was with Joseph and his little sister Olivia. We had so much fun playing in the leaves and exploring the park-here are some shots from our time together....
Yesterday afternoon I met up with Amanda for a maternity shoot in her favorite park-Central Park! She's due in about a month and had such a perfect little bump to photograph. We wanted the pictures to reflect the time of year, and being that she is due in the fall- we played around with the vibrant leaves which were all around us. Stay tuned to see her baby next month when we do the newborn session!
I didn't even realize this at the time....but the big tree that Amanda is leaning against (above, right image) looks like the shape of a belly bump! What a fun find.
This past Sunday afternoon I headed over to the Van Vleck house for a shoot with Amy and Katie. What a gorgeous day it was, the girls were able to run barefoot through the grass and all! The leaves were colorful, the girls outfits complimented them perfectly and I love how everything turned out. Here's a little peak....
This past weekend Betsy and I photographed Emily and Luke's fall wedding. The ceremony took place at St. John The Evangelist Church in Stamford, CT with the reception at The Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, CT. It was such a gorgeous day, and working with these guys was so much fun. Here's a sneak peak in to their day....
This morning I headed in to NYC for a photo shoot with Charlie. Last time I saw her she was only a few weeks old. It was great to see how much she's changed in the past few months. She's got a great personality and is quite the smiler! We started out on the rooftop and then headed down to Battery Park. I'm so happy we had a great morning. Yesterday we headed to Saint Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut for a beautiful fall wedding. The grounds are a wedding photographer's dream, so obviously we had tons of fun shooting here. Tiffany and Matt created a warm and intimate experience for their guests, complete with an outdoor ceremony at sunset, seating cards attached with baby pumpkins and hot apple cider mix in an autumn inspired mug as their wedding favor. Today I headed over to the Frelinghusen Arboretum for a fall photo shoot with Andrew & Sophie. We did a few outfit changes, but I decided to share the "fall color scheme" look since it really just worked perfectly in this setting. Andrew was such a great big brother, smiling and helping to make his sister laugh (lucky me!). Here are some of the images from our day....
Today I headed over to Bayonne Park for an adorable mother-daughter photo shoot. What a special idea, capturing the love and laughter between a mother and her daughter. I think this is something Kayla will surely treasure one day when she's older. Thankfully, the weather held out for us-and Kayla rocked the house for the photos. She was channeling her inner "Taylor Swift" according to her mom. Too funny!
I can not believe that last August I was photographing these 2 little dolls for their newborn shoot and now they are on the move, walking everywhere! We had tons of fun during their shoot this week- and I found an awesome new spot to take pictures at. Here are some images from our time together....

Last Saturday we photographed Heather and Chris's wedding at The Overlook Lodge in Bear Mountain, NY. It was such an gorgeous setting, and I was loving all of the details and small touches Heather had incorporated in the day. Here is a little glimpse into their special day....we also did a series of fun portraits at a carousel. I will add those as a separate blog entry since its way too much of a party for the eyes to have just one image displayed!

This past weekend we photographed Tiffany and Tom's wedding at The Imperia in Somerset, New Jersey. It was a gorgeous day, especially for an outdoor evening ceremony. Tiffany wanted a vintage glamorous vibe to her wedding with jewels hanging from the centerpieces and a color combination of hot pink and black. Very girlie, and very fun. I decided to split this blog entry, this one shows some images with the vintage/old school feel she was looking for--and the next entry I post will be the natural view through the lens of the camera. This afternoon I met up with Chloe & Caroline for a family shoot in Brooklyn. We thought DUMBO would be a great spot since they live nearby, and the area is a photographers dream. Although it was a bit chaotic with the loud noises and filming of a Law and Order episode-we still managed to get some great shots. Here's a little glimpse....
This morning I headed over to Chatham to photograph Kallen, who's only 9 days old. I've been working with her 2 older sisters for a few years now, and they are just so happy to have a new baby sister. It was adorable to watch them with her, being so gentle and careful. Three year old Kaden asked me "if I wanted a glass of wine" during our photo shoot (mind you- it was about 9 AM!). I nearly died, it was so funny.
