I wrapped up my holiday "weekend portrait days" yesterday. To say it was chilly is an understatement (trust us!). However, you'd never know as you look at these pictures. I'm definitely feeling the love and warmth this family exudes.
The final shoot from yesterday was simply perfect. I'm in love with the effortless nature of these photos...capturing the true joy of their entire experience. Hopefully you see what I felt while documenting....
Yesterday I met up with Emily, Luke and Lilly for their holiday portraits. The instant I saw their brightly colored outfits I was in a good mood. These guys were full of energy and had tons of smiles to give. The end result was utter fabulousness.
My first shoot from yesterday morning was with three year old Emma. She's a runner. She's got more energy than the energizer bunny, so I chose a running shot as our opener here. I think her parents would agree that this captures EXACTLY who she is.
On a side note, as I watched my computer download her images last night- I realized I had a gigantic smile on my face (like a true crazy lady who just finished shooting 5 sessions). And then I concluded that this little lady has a smile and an energy that is truly infectious. I dare you to NOT smile as you look at these!
This week I had the pleasure of shooting at the Madison Train Station with the cutest siblings ever. I think you may agree....

My last shoot on Saturday was with Gabriella and her family. OMG she is so adorable, right?! I haven't seen her since she was a newborn, and now she's a year and a half! She started off a little shy, but by the end of the shoot she was laughing and playing and it was so wonderful to witness. Hope you enjoy my selected photos from our time together!
I met up with these 2 cuties this week for their holiday pictures. I was so excited to see Cecilia again and to meet her little baby sister, Corrina. Sister shoots are the best!
Today I met up with Lucas and Penelope for their holiday portraits. The style that was being thrown down for this shoot is beyond fabulous and the smiles are contagious. I love everything about it!
This afternoon I met up with these 3 cuties at the Van Vleck house for their holiday portraits. Everyone was in good spirits and we had a blast exploring the grounds. I think we got a few holiday card keepers!
Today I met up with Xander (4 months) and his parents for his holiday portraits. I feel like the luckiest girl because I always get to shoot the most gorgeous babies, and today is proof of that. We did some holiday looks and then some every day looks. Hope you enjoy!
Here is my latest shoot with Charlie who is almost a year already. It feels like yesterday when we were taking his newborn portraits...and now he's such big, handsome boy! Our shoot was all about getting a good holiday portrait for the card this year, and I think Charlie did a fabulous job giving us what we wanted.
This morning I met up with Matteo and his parents for a holiday shoot at Liberty State Park. We choose the old train station as our backdrop which was amazing. Every where I turned there was another cool area to shoot in. Matteo was all smiles and we got some super cute pictures. Hope you enjoy the images I chose to display!
Here is my lastest shoot with Giuliana, Isabella, Danny and Nicholas. We met up at the Van Vleck house in Montclair for the shoot...we wanted something that had formal aspects, yet was still a fun place for the kids to play outside. I LOVE the outfits these guys are wearing, it adds such a unique vibe to the photos. Enjoy!!
The other day I met up with my friend Cat to shoot her holiday portraits. I love working with these guys because they always come up with creative ideas for their yearly shoot. This year the idea was something urban and edgy but with a holiday flair. The pops of red from Ava's sparkly shoes and Kristian's headphones make me so happy. Enjoy!
Last night I met up with an old friend to photograph her family. We decided to use Trump National Country Club as the backdrop for her shoot...figuring the green grass would really pop against the bright colored outfits everyone was wearing. We had an awesome time together and I think we got some really great results. Enjoy the sneak peak!
Yesterday afternoon I did a super fun photo shoot with Giuliana, Isabella & Daniel. The moment I walked in to their house and saw their fabulous outfits I was instantly excited and inspired. We opted to keep the black and white theme going and chose the damask background. I'm pretty sure everyone had a blast modeling it up for the camera....here's a little preview:
Today I headed to Scarsdale, NY for a holiday shoot with these two handsome boys. The guys were so cute, and such characters- they kept me entertained from start to finish. Since both were such great models, we were able to get a few "looks" done in a relatively short amount of time. Enjoy the sneak peak!

Last year, after the holidays-I found this fun website with holiday costumes for babies and little children (http://www.costumecraze.com). I shared it with my cousin and said "I wish I had known about this before we did Jack's shoot"...well needless to say, my cousin promptly purchased 2 costumes for the next holiday photo shoot. Now that her cards have been delivered I wanted to share with you how the "costume shoot"of 2010 turned out. It was a little difficult persuading her son to wear the get-up, but with a little help we were able to get Jack to forget (for a few quick minutes) that he was in this funny suit.
I'm so excited that my cousin donated this outfit, along with a cute felt Santa costume. So if any of you are ever thinking of doing something a little out of the box for your next holiday shoot-let me know. I have some fun items! The featured pictures are the front and "bloopers" backside of Jack's holiday card. Love it!
Today I met up with Andrew, Maggie, Ella and William for an outdoor holiday shoot. I am so happy that we had such a perfect day...it was a little chilly-but these guys are used to working with me outdoors in chilly temperatures! Here's a little preview to our shoot....
