If you know me, you know I love to shoot with horses. They are so majestic. Its like watching a piece of art move across the land. So obviously, this was basically one of my favorite days everrrrr.
To make sure I achieved my vision (honestly, I didn’t have a set vision other than the lighting) I made sure to schedule the shoot about 90 minutes before the sun went down. I told the girls to wear whatever they felt good in and that was it. The horse, the girls and real life basically took control after that. I was just there to photograph what I saw. Thankfully, their mom was a pro- horse wrangler and helped me get the positions or angle for the best, magical light. But otherwise it was a take it as it comes kinda session. I think we captured that special bond between the girls and their horses!

Yesterday I got to see my old pal, Charlie and his momma for their annual portraits. I missed their faces last year because I was super pregnant- so it was an extra special occasion. He's such a chunky monkey!!

Its always a fun day when I get to photograph animals, and when the animal looks like a walking stuffed animal its like the best day ever. I met up with Charlie and his mom last year for their holiday pictures and this year we decided to switch it up a little by really showing off their neighborhood and the places Charlie hits along his daily walks. Its doesn't hurt to throw in a fun pair of high heels though, right?!

Yesterday afternoon I met up with a little french bulldog named Charlie. He's actually famous in his neighborhood because he is like a walking stuffed animal of adorableness. The premise of the shoot was holiday portraits, but you know we had to rev it up with fun accessories and glam pet poses. Hope you enjoy the preview!
