Last Saturday we photographed Heather and Chris's wedding at The Overlook Lodge in Bear Mountain, NY. It was such an gorgeous setting, and I was loving all of the details and small touches Heather had incorporated in the day. Here is a little glimpse into their special day....we also did a series of fun portraits at a carousel. I will add those as a separate blog entry since its way too much of a party for the eyes to have just one image displayed!

This past weekend we photographed Tiffany and Tom's wedding at The Imperia in Somerset, New Jersey. It was a gorgeous day, especially for an outdoor evening ceremony. Tiffany wanted a vintage glamorous vibe to her wedding with jewels hanging from the centerpieces and a color combination of hot pink and black. Very girlie, and very fun. I decided to split this blog entry, this one shows some images with the vintage/old school feel she was looking for--and the next entry I post will be the natural view through the lens of the camera. This afternoon I met up with Chloe & Caroline for a family shoot in Brooklyn. We thought DUMBO would be a great spot since they live nearby, and the area is a photographers dream. Although it was a bit chaotic with the loud noises and filming of a Law and Order episode-we still managed to get some great shots. Here's a little glimpse....
This morning I headed over to Chatham to photograph Kallen, who's only 9 days old. I've been working with her 2 older sisters for a few years now, and they are just so happy to have a new baby sister. It was adorable to watch them with her, being so gentle and careful. Three year old Kaden asked me "if I wanted a glass of wine" during our photo shoot (mind you- it was about 9 AM!). I nearly died, it was so funny. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing these adorable children. Every time I work with them, we get great pictures. It was so exciting to see how they've all grown since our last shoot, and to meet the latest addition, a beautiful baby girl! Here are some pictures from our time together....

This afternoon I met up with Mason and his big sister Avery for a family shoot. I've been working with Avery for a few years now, she's always fun to photograph. Now I get to photograph her with her little brother. The last time I saw Mason he was only a few weeks old, and he's grown so much! Here are some images from our time in the park....

Yesterday I met up with Emme and her parents at the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford, CT. Its an awesome place to visit, and to photograph at. We had a great time together, Emme is such a happy little girl! Here are some images from our time together, and to view the progression of Emme-check out her newborn shoot and her 6 month shoot!
This past Saturday I met with Tiffany and Matt who are getting married on October 10, 2010 at St. Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut. They drove all the way down to Hoboken, NJ from Rhode Island for the shoot. Tiffany figured since the vibe/photos at the wedding will be more natural and secret garden-y, why not go in the complete opposite direction with the engagement pictures? He headed to Court Street and the surrounding areas for an urban look, we had awesome light and I'm loving the pictures. Can't wait to see what the big day will hold!
Last night I photographed Erin and Molly at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ. The setting was perfect for a natural photo shoot of the girls playing in the sand and splashing in the water. I decided to switch it up a little today, and to dislpay these pictures on my blog as I see a past moment in time, kind of like a summertime faded memory. I guess the pictures just really got me inspired. Hope you enjoy!
Today I headed to Fair Haven, NJ to meet up with Josie for her 7 month photo shoot. She's changed so much since our last session, with her chubby thighs and big blue eyes! We had bath time, played dress up in her big closet and even went swimming in the pool...talk about a big day.
We will be on a brief summer break from Friday, August 6th through Thursday August 12th.
