Another “at-home” family portrait session to help inspire your next photoshoot.
The premise was “Home for the Holidays.” The goal behind the pictures was to create a unique holiday card base on the “Home for the Holidays” idea but also not making the pictures feel set in holiday mode. This way we kill two birds with one stone: we get the card done but we can also display classically timeless family portraits that translate year round. Not just during the holidays. When I did this session, we were in the middle of the pandemic- it was summer 2020. So the meaning behind HOME was so much more. This was where they spent the majority of their time. When they look back on these pictures, they will see exactly where they were at that time and feel the love.

I couldn't have asked for a better evening to take pictures this past weekend. Here are some of my favorites from the family shoot I photographed at sunset. Glorious!

Sunday's shoot involved a rather fun situation - a pillow fight. Kind of think this was more exciting for the parents and for me. Love the idea, and love the results. Hope it leaves you inspired!
This weekend I got to do something a little different for my family photo shooting. On Saturday I met up with some friends for their annual family portraits, and after we captured their traditional images- we moved inside for some breakfast. Every weekend these guys all get together in the kitchen to whip up some delicious pancakes- as a family. What better than to capture this tradition and the memories they make on camera, right?! I'm loving how they turned out, and I might have to copy this idea and do the same when my little ones are old enough. Enjoy!

This afternoon I met up with one of the most smiley babies I've ever met...little Miss Tatum. I swear she is like the happiest baby ever and she made my job as easy as could be. Here's a little snip-it of the day, we'll call this the blue wall series :)

Yesterday afternoon I met up with these lovely ladies for their annual portraits. I'm loving the black and white vibe going on, between the outfits and the surrounds. Super fun!

This morning I met up with these 2 adorable little ladies for their holiday pictures. We started with some hang time inside and then finished up with some wintery fun in their neighborhood. I can't decide what I like better, the inside shots or the outside shots. Decisions, decisions!

Although I am technically on maternity leave, its kind of hard to stay away from taking pictures....so today I did a spontaneous shoot with my friends and their sixth month old, Emma. To say she's a cutie pie is an understatement, so I mean- I really just couldn't resist photographing her. Hope you enjoy the sneak peak!

This weekend I met up with Jeremy for his one year shoot. The last time I saw him was when he was only

Today I headed to Stamford, CT to meet with Jack for his 6th month shoot. He's gotten soooo big since the newborn shoot, I couldn't stop staring at his adorable cheeks (with dimples) and chubby thighs! Here's a little sneak peak....

Today I met up with James for a portrait play date. I had so much fun with this little guy, not only is he adorable- but he's such a sweet boy. We managed to get some great indoor and outdoor shots...enjoy the preview!

Yesterday morning I met up with Hunter and his parents. It was so great to see him again, the last time we were together was when he was only a

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Brad, Colleen and Bridget for a fun shoot in their backyard. I've been photographing them for the past few years-and its really pretty cool to watch the progression of them as they grow and change. Love hangin' out with these guys!

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Siena and her parents for her one year shoot. It was so good to see her again, she's changed a lot since her

Today I headed to Battery Park in Manhattan for a shoot with this happy and adorable baby boy. He was all smiles for the entire shoot, which is so rare! Since he was in such a great mood, we were able to do lots of looks + go outside for a 5 minute outdoor session. Enjoy the sneak peak!
