This past Saturday was my Connecticut Fall Portrait Day, and boy did I luck out with the best fall day EVER! The autumn colors were vibrant, the sky was blue and the temperature was perfect. Here is my first family from the day, I believe we kicked it off right with this super beautiful family.

I finished off my time in Brooklyn on Wednesday at sunset with Maya and her parents. It was so nice meeting the entire family, Maya definitely kept us entertained. She even had a stranger "oohing and ahhing" over how adorable she was. She really worked it for the camera, showing us her excited face, her happy face and her serious face. Mini model in the making? I think so!

I met up with Cameron and his parents on Wednesday for a shoot. It was a blast, these guys were great to work with and we couldn't have asked for better photo shooting conditions!

Today I met up with Lucas and Penelope for their holiday portraits. The style that was being thrown down for this shoot is beyond fabulous and the smiles are contagious. I love everything about it!

Finally we had a picture perfect afternoon for a photo shoot! I've been trying to photograph these three kids for the past month, but it seemed to rain every day we scheduled their shoot. I was so happy it finally worked out. These guys are awesome to work with, lots of poses and drama from the girls (typical!) and their brother is just the sweetest, laid back guy ever. A perfect combination for a beautiful family!
This morning I headed in to the city to photograph these two little guys. They are so precious and tiny, which reminded me of my little one and how small she was when we took her home from the hospital. I love how their personalities are shining through, Aaron was awake for the entire shoot (I don't think he wanted to miss any of the action), while Benjamin was just fine snoozing through the session. Adorable!

It was so nice waking up yesterday morning to sunshine, this rain has been putting a damper on my photo shoot schedule! Plus, I was super excited to see these 3 cuties again (we did a shoot last fall, and they were awesome). For this session we met in Hoboken down by pier c and did holiday portraits and some family shots. Picture perfect morning and picture perfect subjects!

Yesterday afternoon I had the honor of photographing a very special and intimate vow renewal ceremony. The afternoon was perfect...the light was soft, the beach was empty and it was absolutely 100% special. Having worked with these guys for years, it was so nice to come full circle with the celebration of their marriage and their family. I hope you enjoy the pictures I chose to show on the blog, you know I wanted to post ALL of them!!

This morning I met up with Jackson for his 1 year photoshoot. Can you even handle the fact that he threw down a number one finger sign?! I can't believe a whole year has gone by already. He's such a happy little guy -- and he's walking. We had a great time checking out The Waveny, playing in the grass and climbing trees. Overall I'd say it was a great day!

This evening I met up with Emma and her parents for her one year photo shoot. I LOVED her beautiful birthday dress...tulle always photographs so soft and pretty. We had quite an eventful shoot, it was filled with sun, rain and a rainbow. Emma managed to work it throughout all of the weather that came our way, like a true super model!

This afternoon I met up with these 3 cuties at the Van Vleck house for their holiday portraits. Everyone was in good spirits and we had a blast exploring the grounds. I think we got a few holiday card keepers!

I was super excited to photograph today's newborn, Julie. I've been working with her family since her parents got married five years ago. Not only are they always a blast to work with, but its also so much fun to see their family

Today I met up with Benjamin and his parents for his very first photo shoot. He was an angel to work with, even when he cried it was adorable. I was loving his nursery decor so we opted to take most of the photo's in his room - and the results are fabulous!

Over the summer I met with Reese and her parents for her 1 year shoot. Its crazy to think a full year has gone by already. Being able to capture her as she walked around and explored the arboretum was priceless. She's such a cutie pie. I couldn't resist posting these shots of her on the Adirondack chairs and the one of her with her parents swinging her. Truly adorable!

During my maternity leave I had a few "watch me grow" babies who were turning 1 and I wanted to make sure I was able to photograph them. Since Lucas lives so close to me, it was not a problem to step away from my baby for an hour to photograph him. It was great to see how much he's grown in a year. What a happy little guy! We had a wonderful time and I'm so glad I was able to capture this milestone in his life. Happy 1st birthday, Lucas.

After much anticipation, I'm happy to let you all know that we gave birth to our daughter, Scarlett last friday. We are so in love and are enjoying ever minute spent with her. I just wanted to post a picture of her from today (obviously I am photographing her daily, she'll be so sick of me by the time she's 2). Once I'm a little more settled I'll be sure to post her official newborn portraits on my blog!
Although I am technically on maternity leave, its kind of hard to stay away from taking pictures....so today I did a spontaneous shoot with my friends and their sixth month old, Emma. To say she's a cutie pie is an understatement, so I mean- I really just couldn't resist photographing her. Hope you enjoy the sneak peak!
