This afternoon I met up with Cecilia for her 1 year shoot at Carl Schurz park. Its a great, laid back park for shooting in the city and we had an awesome time. We did a few looks- holiday, fall/halloween AND a 1 year cake smash. Um, I think Cecilia likes icing and cake....
Last night I met up with Ava & Andrew for a shoot in Central Park. I am thrilled with how the shoot turned out and I had a blast working with the entire group. Enjoy!
Here's my latest shoot with Julien, 6th months-- in Central Park. We met at 7:30 am for an early bird photo session...it was really nice to be in the park at this time of day. It was quite and peaceful, I kinda felt like we had the entire place to ourselves! Enjoy the preview of our time together....
Here is my latest shoot with Sophia (2 years old) and Tavey (10 months), these 2 worked it like professional models in front of my camera. I was so grateful to have another nice day to shoot outdoors, and the outfits these guys wore really worked beautifully against our surroundings. Enjoy the cuties...I bet you'll be smiling as you look at the shots, their smiles are contagious!
This morning I met up with Rayan and his parents at Madison Square Park for some outdoor fun. I can't believe it was a year ago we were taking Rayan's newborn photos...now he's got teeth, he's on the move - and he loves playing outside. We had a great time, the weather was fantastic and we got lots of great, smiling shots. Enjoy!
This past Friday I met up with Shane and her parents for her half year shoot at the park. So much has changed since her newborn shoot, so it was great to see how she's grown. Talk about a personality! We had a great time, enjoy her different looks :)
Last night I headed to Central Park to meet up with Jordan and his family for his one year portraits. The session started out sunny and beautiful and as we meandered through the park...the weather took a crazy turn. A heavy downpour popped up out of nowhere, and we had to take cover under a tree. Talk about a memorable experience! As the rain subsided a beautiful rainbow appeared and the sun cast a gorgeous golden light on us. We didn't let the rain slow us down, and we continued our shoot. This was definitely a first for me-but I'm so happy we experienced it. It makes the pictures that much more fun!
Saturday afternoon I headed to Rockefeller State Park for a shoot with Jagger and his parents. The day was picture perfect and our surroundings were lush and green...the perfect combo for great pictures. Here is a little sneak peak in to our time together....
Yesterday morning I met up with Matteo and his parents at Hamilton Park in Jersey City for his one year shoot. It seems like just yesterday I was doing maternity pictures for these guys, let alone his NEWBORN pictures!! Here's a little snippet in to our time together, I'm loving the color combo Matteo's mom picked out for their family portraits-very fun.
Yesterday afternoon I met up with Siena and her parents for her one year shoot. It was so good to see her again, she's changed a lot since her newborn shoot! We were able to get lots of different looks inside and then we headed out to Battery City Park for some outdoor shots. I'm super excited with all of our results!
Yesterday was my Connecticut Family Portrait day in Stamford, CT. We were so lucky to have had a break from all of this dreary weather....the entire day was absolutely spectacular. My first shoot of the the morning was with Olivia and her parents. She had lots of adorable outfits and lots of adorable smiles, the perfect combo for a successful portrait session!
Today's family shoot with my very good friend Becky (we've been bestie's since 2nd grade) and her brother and mom. Becky is in town from Colorado and her brother is in from Florida - aka - the perfect excuse for a family photo shoot! We headed down to Lake Mohawk in Sparta, a place that has tons of good memories for everyone. I was so happy that the rain subsided, and we were able to get lots of fun pictures. Enjoy the preview!
Today I met up with Mason and his family for his 1 year shoot. The day was perfect, not too cold and not too sunny. We were able to get lots of happy, natural smiles and I'm loving everything I've looked at from our time together.
I can't believe that it was this time last year he was just born and we were scheduling his newborn shoot. Happy birthday!!
This past Saturday I met Lucas and his parents at the Van Vleck House in Montclair, NJ. They drove all the way from Long Island to have me photograph their gorgeous baby boy. I was totally flattered that they would travel a distance to work with me. Needless to say, everyone was dressed fabulously and we got some amazing pictures. I'm loving how the browns and rust colors stand out against the green grass and other earthy tones. Here's a little preview....
Yesterday I headed up to Connecticut for my 2010 Fall Portrait Day. We lucked out with perfect weather, it was a little chilly-but that just added cute rosey cheeks to everyone's face. My first shoot was with Joseph and his little sister Olivia. We had so much fun playing in the leaves and exploring the park-here are some shots from our time together....
This past Sunday afternoon I headed over to the Van Vleck house for a shoot with Amy and Katie. What a gorgeous day it was, the girls were able to run barefoot through the grass and all! The leaves were colorful, the girls outfits complimented them perfectly and I love how everything turned out. Here's a little peak....
This morning I headed in to NYC for a photo shoot with Charlie. Last time I saw her she was only a few weeks old. It was great to see how much she's changed in the past few months. She's got a great personality and is quite the smiler! We started out on the rooftop and then headed down to Battery Park. I'm so happy we had a great morning. Today I headed over to Bayonne Park for an adorable mother-daughter photo shoot. What a special idea, capturing the love and laughter between a mother and her daughter. I think this is something Kayla will surely treasure one day when she's older. Thankfully, the weather held out for us-and Kayla rocked the house for the photos. She was channeling her inner "Taylor Swift" according to her mom. Too funny!
