Yesterday I headed down to Hamilton, NJ to shoot my girlfriend Paula's belly. She's having twin boys (can't wait to shoot them!)-and she's due in January. I kept telling her I think she's really tiny for being 1 month away from delivering them, right?! Anyway, we had lots of fun taking pictures, we covered all the bases-standard shots, glam shots, painted belly shots. I'm sure she was exhausted when I left since she was up and down the whole day. On Monday I headed into NYC to meet a family on the east side of Central Park. We met before school and got some awesome shots. Between the color combo on the kids, the soft morning light and the leaves on the ground-it was a total success. I give major props to these guys for taking their coats off and pretending it was warm outside (it wasn't really that bad!). Anyway, here are some of my favorites...
Today I went to Brooklyn to shoot Chloe and her parents. We had an excellent photo session, Chloe was totally down with having her picture taken-primarily when she was the only one in front of the lens! As soon as I set my eyes on their funky couch and cool wooden doors I knew we HAD to do something involving them. Its a favorite, of course.
On Saturday we shot our last wedding for 2008. It took place in Fairfield, Connecticut at the country club in town. The day offered up a classic November scene-white skies and vibrant red and gold leaves on the ground. Its one of my favorite sights to look at, reminding me of indoor coziness and of course, the holidays. The wedding had a warm and intimate feel to it, filled with laughter and love. It was a great way to finish off our 2008 wedding season!

This past Saturday I headed into Manhattan to shoot these precious little twins, Lucy and John David. Their birthday was earlier in the week, so we decided it would be appropriate to shoot them in their birthday suits. Obviously they were totally into the idea...
This past Friday I shot two adorable little girls, Erin and Molly. We started the shoot off "holiday style" and finished off with some casual sweater dresses that looked great outside with the yellow and orange leaves. I really love Erin's profile in the shot below.
Yesterday, after my morning shoot I headed to Chester, NJ to photograph Grace and Georgia Rose. We did a large array of photo shooting-indoor, outdoor, outfit changes-the whole 9 yards. Here are some of my most faves:
This past Thursday I met with Luke and his little brother Will. We headed outside for the start of the shoot, there was no way I was going to pass up on the orange leaves that were in the yard. So we dressed Luke up in something that would coordinate well with his surroundings-including fabulous flaming rubber boots. Here he is posing by the fire hydrant. Can we say, natural model?
Then we spent some time with Will. I think this shot gives new meaning to mini-couch potato. I am mildly obsessed with the whole situation going on here. It was a really terrific shoot, we got tons of great shots-but these two in particular knocked my socks off!
I visited with my friends this past Sunday and couldn't resist doing a small photo shoot with their little 10 month old girl, Talia. After ransacking her closet, this is the outfit we decided on. I love the simplicity of it, it looks like she just got in from a day of skiing or better yet, with this environment, fall farming!
Yesterday I headed up to Westport, CT to do a family photo shoot at the beach. The weather was a little brisk but the sun was shining and the leaves were beautiful. We had a great time playing in the sand and checking out the shells. Here are some shots from the session....
We just got home from shooting a wedding in Connecticut. The ceremony was at a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in Hartford, and the reception was held at the Riverview in Simsbury. We met our bride and groom back in June for an engagement session in Central Park (check out the archives) and were looking forward to the actual day. We had a great time despite the gloomy weather. I just got back from shooting a few families up in Stamford, CT. We started the shoot off with all of the kids for a "cousin photo shoot" before breaking off into individual family portraits. This past Friday I met Nathan's new brother Max at their home in Connecticut. We started indoors for some studio shots, but also had to take advantage of the fall foliage and warmer temps. This past Friday I did a shoot at my in-laws house in Oxford, CT. Their yard is an awesome backdrop for pictures...it is a 300 year old farmhouse with tons of character. Lots of fun gardens, a chicken coup, old honeycomb drawers, and across the street is the Housatonic River. The shoot was a complete success, I was so happy with all of the outfit choices Julianna's mom brought with her--we had tons of versatility and the colors just popped in the environment. Last night we had the honor to shoot one of our best friends weddings at the Villa Louisa in Bolton, CT. The ceremony took place after sunset in an outdoor garden setting. It was so unique--very romantic and intimate. After the ceremony we all headed indoors for the celebration. Here are some shots from the affair....
This past Friday we shot a wedding at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ. It is an elegant Inn situated right on the water with beautiful views at sunset. The overall vibe of the wedding was relaxed and intimate with classic and elegant details. Plumb accents added a rich autumn look to the day. I was in love with the bridesmaid dresses, especially the detail at the neckline. Very vintage and very fun. Here are some shots from the wedding, more to follow shortly on my website.
