Today I headed into Manhattan to photograph this happy little guy. I don't even think he had time to realize what was going on since we woke him up from a nap and I instantly began snapping away. As you can see from the pictures, he really knew how to work it in front of the camera. I had so much fun shooting him and his parents-what a great day!
Today I met up with these guys at Allaire State Park in Wall, NJ. Its a great spot to take pictures an d the boys were a blast to work with. The results are fantastic, here are a few from the day:
I met up with this fun family yesterday at the Waveny (New Canaan, CT) for a fall photo shoot and some holiday portraits. Loved the color combos and adored the holiday dresses (last few pictures in this post)-who looks like living "American Dolls"...They do!

Today I met up with Olivia and Lila for a special holiday photo shoot at Fort Tyrone in NYC. Its such a cool spot --and can you even stand their outfits?!? My eyes were in a constant state of excitement between the stockings, the tu-tu's and the shoes!!!
Yesterday morning I met these guys at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for a family photo shoot. It was such a nice spot with tons of different backdrop options. I think Chloe had a blast too since there was so much to check out-and as always, she worked it for the camera big time! Here are some pictures...
On Saturday I headed up to Connecticut to shoot this beautiful family. We started off at a funky old seed barn, with the intention of blending weathered old backgrounds with formal holiday dresses (very fun). After that, we all headed back to their house and the girls changed into some casual clothes so we could play in the leaves freely. Its funny to see the difference an outfit makes in the girls attitude once they put on the relaxed outfits....I love it!
This past Friday I shot two of my favorite twins-Ethan and Benjamin, now 9 months old. They're growing so much, its really fun to look back at the old shoots to see their progression from newborn to now! We had a blast, shooting outdoors on a beautiful autumn day--here are some pictures...

Yesterday I headed up to Stamford for a family photo shoot. I'd never been to this hidden gem (The Nature Center)-let me tell you, its an awesome place to take pictures at! We had so many beautiful backdrops to work with, and my family was so fantastic to work with. That combination resulted in tons of fun shots-here are some of them....
On Sunday I had the opportunity to shoot one of my best friends entire family at the place we grew up-Lake Mohawk in Sparta, NJ. When we showed up, it was misting out (not ideal for a shoot!), but within a few minutes a rainbow appeared and the rain stopped. The end results are totally fun, and I loved the color combo they chose, it's totally them!
This morning I met up with an old friend in Montclair, NJ to photograph her 2 adorable kids. Loved their outfits, the colors looked so fantastic with the outdoor scenery. The shoot was a complete success-here are some of my favorite shots...
This past Friday, Jason and I headed up to Massachusetts to shoot a beautiful "Autumn in New England" style wedding (ceremony at Holy Cross, reception at Harrington Farm). It was a gorgeous day, all of the details were stunning-and we had so much fun capturing the special moments between the newlyweds and their families. Today I headed to Chester to shoot these cuties. We did an array of things, finishing the shoot off with a small petting zoo in the yard! It was way too much fun to handle-enjoy looking at some shots:
....I'm sorry, I couldn't resist throwing this guy into the mix with his ridiculous teeth and hair do!
In my opinion there are 3 ingredients needed to make a photoshoot a complete success: * A good photographer (perhaps that is me?) * A great spot for pictures (and great lighting) * The right outfit

1. Clothing designer: Kate Mack - google her and you'll find a bunch of websites that sell her dresses and cute tu-tu bathing suites. You can even find used clothing on ebay for much less!

3. Etsy: All things homemade: if you're looking for inexpensive fairy outfits or one of a kind dresses, knitwear, baby apparel-this is the place! I buy lots of my props from this site. If I could, I'd buy waaay more!

Yesterday I shot newborn twin girls named Teaghan and Isabella. They're just 3 weeks old and so cute, the shoot was so much fun to do. I can't even handle how adorable their pictures came out!
This morning I met up with Erin and Molly at the Van Vleck House in Montclair, NJ to take pictures. The morning light was really beautiful, and so was the temperature. Our shoot was a complete success! Here are some of my favorite shots:
Today I headed to Stamford, CT to shoot this beautiful 8 day old baby girl. Her home had so many wonderful rooms to shoot portraits in, which made my job lots of fun. I am so happy with the way all the pictures turned out-she looks like a sleeping baby super model!
Last week I had the opportunity to work on a new clothing line - Vivique (www.viviqueapparel.com). They have designed the clothes to fit women before, during and after pregnancy. The best part of the bottoms is that there is no annoying belly band at the top of the pants. They actually look like normal pants, which expand and contract as you do. So amazing! This way you can wear them as you grow, and after the baby arrives, they still will fit you as you slim back down. Their line should be available online and in stores this fall. In the meantime, here are some of the pictures I shot for their marketing campaign:
The shoot consisted of 2 pregnant models and 1 non-pregnant mode, showcasing how the exact outfits looked on both body types!
