Today I met up with Joshua for his very first photo shoot. I would like to refer to this little guy as "Mr. Personality" because when I showed up, he briefly woke up from a nap, and gave me about 10 different amazing facial expressions before peacefully falling back in to a slumber. I totally fell in love with him instantly, and I'm sure you all will too when you see the pictures I chose to display on the blog. Enjoy!
The other day I met up with Jemma for her first photo shoot. She's only a few weeks old and has the most beautiful big blue eyes (just like her mom). Not only was it fun to meet Jemma, but I also got to visit with her older brother and sister (twins!), whom I have been photographing since they were newborns. Its really something special to watch my client's families expand and grow, and an honor to be the one photographing these special milestones. Enjoy the preview!
Yesterday I headed to Westchester for a shoot with a very beautiful family. I had met Giuliana, Isabella and Danny back in December for their holiday portraits and at the time their mom was pregnant with Nicholas. She called me a few weeks ago to let me know the baby had been born and she wanted to set up a newborn shoot with Nicholas and his siblings. We decided to keep it simple and soft with whites and bare skin against on a soft cozy bed...the safest option for younger brothers and sister handling an 8 week old baby brother! This afternoon I headed over to my good friends house to photograph their new baby girl, Lexie. I was so excited to take her pictures and to meet her. She just turned 6 weeks old and is super cute. I had a great time taking her pictures and hanging with her parents. Here's a little sneak in to our shoot.....
Today I headed in to Manhattan for a newborn shoot with Julien. He was such a a good boy the entire time! When I showed up he was chilling out on the couch in a simple white cloth diaper (loved it!). The moment I took my camera out, he was totally alert - looking in to the camera lens & working it for his big debut. I hope you enjoy the images I selected for the blog, it was super hard to choose.

Today I headed to Hoboken for a photo shoot with Christian- who is only a few weeks old. He was such a rock star, letting us change him so many times without making a peep! Since he was so fabulous to work with, we were able to get lots of different looks. I like to refer to the above image as "a boys best friend" - can you stand the dog posing it up like a little doggie model?!? Love it.
Today I headed in to NYC for a photo shoot with Jeremy, who turned 8 days old today. We originally planned on doing the shoot in 2 weeks, but this baby boy was just so excited to meet the world- he arrived a few weeks earlier than expected. Yesterday I headed down the hill to Hoboken for a photo shoot with baby Andre and his parents. We were a little nervous that we wouldn't get many smiles since we woke him up from a cozy nap...but low and behold, he rocked it out in front of the camera. I'm loving how these shots came out, bright and fresh and filled with love!
This afternoon I met up with Charlie and his mom for his first photoshoot. Charlie is just under 2 weeks old, and is absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy that I brought my new owl hat that I purchased on Etsy, because his mom loves owls (it was totally meant to be!). We had a wonderful time together, and I'm thrilled with how everything turned out. Here's a sneak peak.....
This week I headed to Rhode Island to meet my bff's baby boy, Charlie. Not only is he totally adorable, but he is also such a good baby. We got to know each other yesterday and finished our first meeting with a fabulous photoshoot today. I don't think I've ever met a baby that smiles as much as him- which isn't that big of a surprise since his parents are 2 of the funniest people I know. Here's a little glimpse....
This morning I headed down the hill into Hoboken for a newborn shoot with Everett. It was great to see his parents again, I can't believe it was a little over a month ago that we were doing their maternity shoot. The moment I saw Everett I knew we were going to have a great session, he is a super peaceful and alert baby with a great head of hair! I'm thrilled with the way everything turned out-what a way to end the 2010 shooting year!
Today I met up with an old friend to photograph her beautiful baby girl, Ella. She may be the happiest 9 week old I've ever met. Since she was so good, we were able to do lots of different looks within a pretty quick amount of time. Here are some of the shots we managed to capture--love them!

Here is a shoot I recently did with Kalib-who was visiting his family and friends in Connecticut. He's actually a Rocky Mountain baby, and the son of my good friends- Jonas and Beth. I was so happy to meet their beautiful little baby boy and to snap some photos of him.

The other day I headed to Sparta, NJ (my hometown!) for a shoot with Eden and her family. I had photographed Eden's parents wedding last summer in LBI- so it was great to see everyone again and to catch up. Our shoot was super easy and lots of fun--what a beautiful, happy baby girl!
This morning I headed over to Chatham to photograph Kallen, who's only 9 days old. I've been working with her 2 older sisters for a few years now, and they are just so happy to have a new baby sister. It was adorable to watch them with her, being so gentle and careful. Three year old Kaden asked me "if I wanted a glass of wine" during our photo shoot (mind you- it was about 9 AM!). I nearly died, it was so funny.
