Last week I headed to the pool with Jack and his mom for a small swim lesson. After major SPF application the water was a flyin'. Pool photo-shoots may be one of my new favorites!!

Yesterday I met with these guys at The Waveny in New Canaan, CT for their engagement pictures. We had an awesome time together which of course results in fun pictures. As soon as I downloaded the images, and saw the series we took in the meadow (above and 2 below), it instantly made me think of the '70s (flowing hair, meadows, frolics and laughter). Stay tuned, their wedding is coming up in September 2009!

On Saturday, Jason and I headed up to Longmeadow, Massachusetts (the cutest town ever). The ceremony took place at the First Church of Christ with a reception at Longmeadow Country Club. We had a gorgeous day and are so lucky we were able to capture all of the special moments for these two very special people. Everything about their day was absolutely magical. Here are a few favorites...

Well, I finally had a chance to focus a little on some pictures I recently took at Father's Day of my nieces and nephews. I'm pretty sure they enjoy having their pictures taken....

I just wanted to thank Nancy Grace for giving a shout out to me on her show tonight- she showed some shots I took this summer of her family and the twins at the beach. Thank you-I feel very special! Just in case you want to watch it, her show will be replaying tonight at 10 PM on Headline News!
This past Saturday the rain came to an end (finally-after what seems like an entire month!) and we were able to shoot a beautiful, sunny wedding. The ceremony took place at St. John The Evangelist Parish, Stamford, CT- the reception was held at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. We had so much fun with these guys, and their family and friends. Here are a couple of pictures to hold you over until their slide-show is up on my website!

Today I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful bride-to-be. As a surprise gift for her fiance, she chose to do a boudoir shoot. Of course it was a blast, we had Kerry (kerrydering.com) do the makeup-which was fantastic as always. There are so many fun shots I'd love to post but the only one who's allowed to see all of them is her lucky man!
Yesterday I did a shoot in Summit, NJ for this beauty. I worked with my favorite makeup artist, kerry (kerrydering.com)-she 3 distinct looks; fresh face and natural, vibrant lip and smokey eye. Needless to say, I loved it all (and the house was an amazing backdrop to work in)! Here are a few favorites from each look:
Last Saturday I met an old friend at my mother-in-law's home in Connecticut for a photo shoot. They were coming all the way from New Hampshire-so it was a good middle point for us (plus I love the house and yard for shooting). Anyway, we had a ton of fun catching up and snapping great shots of the kids and family. Here are some faves:
Yesterday I headed down the hill to Hoboken and took some shots of Jack, my cousin's little boy. As usual-he worked it for the camera. Can you stand his eyes and his red hair?! I can't.

(Someone really enjoys hand puppets....)

Yesterday I headed down the Jersey shore to photograph Lucy and John David- both 1.5 years old. They have grown so much since the last time I saw them-I can't even handle how cute they are. Even with the wind and the clouds, we still managed to have a good time playing on the beach and got some great shots. Here are a few favorites...

On Saturday we shot a beautiful spring-time wedding at The Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ. The ceremony and reception both took place at the venue-and we did some really fun portraits at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The weather held out just long enough for us to get some killer bridal party pictures on the grounds-yay! The decor was beautiful and we had a blast documenting the day for these two special poeple. Here are some shots to hold you over until their slideshow is up on my website...

This past Saturday we headed down to Jamesburg, NJ to shoot a spring outdoor wedding. The weather was phenomenal, the bride and groom looked beautiful and the party was fabulous. The happy couple had an outdoor wedding with reception to follow at Forsgate Country Club. Here are some shots from the affair...

This passed Saturday we had the opportunity to shoot an elopement ceremony (I think I made that word up) for my cousin and her boyfriend/now husband! It took place at a cool hotel in the Village called The Bowery. The decor was amazing, the attire was amazing...basically there was eye-candy everywhere we turned. I could go on and on-but instead I'll just post some pictures....

This weekend I got to shoot 2 of my favorite people...my brother-in-law and his fiance! The weather held out and we were able to get amazing shots at the Van Vleck house in Montclair, NJ. All the flowers were blooming, including the gigantic 100 year old wisteria tree. It was such a great shoot, and these guys purchased their own wisteria to grow in their own yard...to always remind them of the special day!
