This weekend we headed up to Rhode Island to ring in 2012 with our good friends. Since Sunday was such a nice day, we decided to go outside and take some family photos. What perfect timing since their baby boy just turned 1!

I must admit, sixth month baby shoots are a favorite of mine. The babies are always so alert and smiley, they can usually sit up on their own...and you just can't get a bad shot. I think this shoot with Abigail is proof enough, and her cute little face makes it hard for me to not smile!

Yesterday I met up with Sophia Grace for her very first photo shoot. OMG, she looks just like her mom- what a beauty! In between some minor tears we were able to capture her looking happy and peaceful. I kinda think she looks like a doll :)

Today I met up with Charlie Keene and his parents at Allaire State Park for an outdoor session. We lucked out with some really pretty light and mild temperatures...60 degrees in December! We had a great time exploring the park and we finished off with a giant birthday cupcake. I'm in love.

Here is my latest shoot with Charlie who is almost a year already. It feels like yesterday when we were taking his newborn portraits...and now he's such big, handsome boy! Our shoot was all about getting a good holiday portrait for the card this  year, and I think Charlie did a fabulous job giving us what we wanted.

This past weekend I met up with an awesome couple in Hoboken for their maternity shoot. Since the weather has been unseasonably warm, we were able to do a mixture of inside and outside shooting. We had a really pretty sunset, and I'm thrilled we were able to capture the reflection on the city skyline. Enjoy!

Here is my lastest shoot with Giuliana, Isabella, Danny and Nicholas. We met up at the Van Vleck house in Montclair for the shoot...we wanted something that had formal aspects, yet was still a fun place for the kids to play outside. Yesterday afternoon I met up with a little french bulldog named Charlie. He's actually famous in his neighborhood because he is like a walking stuffed animal of adorableness. Yesterday morning I met up with Hunter and his parents. It was so great to see him again, the last time we were together was when he was only a few days old. Let me tell you, this chubster has definitely filled out...I can't decide what's better- the cheeks or the thighs! And don't even get me started on his baby blues....

This afternoon I met up with Cecilia for her 1 year shoot at Carl Schurz park. Its a great, laid back park for shooting in the city and we had an awesome time. We did a few looks- holiday, fall/halloween AND a 1 year cake smash. Um, I think Cecilia likes icing and cake....

New Jersey Family Photographer | Jordan and Mikaila

Last night I headed down to Court Street in Hoboken to photograph Jordan (he's 15.5 months old) and his big sister Mikaila. We decided to do some urban shots and then head over to Pier C Park which is right on the Hudson River. We had a great night, the lighting was spectacular and it was the perfect finish to Jordan's Watch Me Grow package. Enjoy!
